OEM Retrofit Front GX460 BBU (Big Brake Upgrade) calipers are ready for purchase for select model Toyotas.

Vehicle fitment:

• 2000-2006 Tundras
• 2001-2007 Sequoias
• 1995.5-2004 Tacomas
• 1996-2002 4runner

These calipers were originally designed to fit a 2010 Lexus GX460 which utilizes larger diameter brake rotors (.8” larger diameter which yields better stopping power), wider cooling fins within the rotors (.5” wider which provides better cooling efficiency) and the caliper pistons are larger in diameter as well (.2” diameter larger which provides better clamping force on the brake pads).

Overall they provide a significant brake upgrade over stock brakes (yes even better then 13WL’s). These are perfect for when running oversized tires, towing and/or heavily modified vehicles.

Since the GX460 shares the exact same wheel hub bolt pattern and caliper bolt mounting locations, these are a direct fitment after machining. Without the machining process they will interfere with rotor.

(4Runners and Tacomas will require heat shield trimming for fitment)

Requirements for the upgrade:
2010 Lexus GX460 front calipers. (Which is what we are providing)

2010 Lexus GX460 front brake rotors. (Not included: Must be sourced on your own)

2010 Lexus GX460 front brake pads. (Not included:Must be sourced on your own)

(2010 Toyota 4Runner brake components are compatible as well)

Minimum wheel size - 17”

Recommended (for applicable models) to thoroughly adjust/repair rear drum brake shoes during upgrade or else pedal travel may suffer (this includes adjusting LSPV or converting to a rear manual prop valve).

A good option (for applicable models), but not a requirement, is upgrading to a T100 1” bore brake Master cylinder and T100 Dual Diaphragm brake booster for enhanced pedal feel. This upgrade is rarely practiced with this upgrade, but is a suitable option for some.

These are not cheap aftermarket remans. They are the highest quality OEM calipers I can source. I went through as much fitment process as needed to ensure that they work on all applicable models listed.
